Info on Cerebal Palsy
Cerebral palsy is considered a neurological disorder caused by a non-progressive brain injury or malformation that occurs while the child’s brain is under development. It primarily impacts body movement and muscle coordination and, in the United States, cerebral palsy is the most common of all childhood disabilities, affecting about 2-3 live births out of 1,000 — 8,000 to 10,000 babies and infants are diagnosed with cerebral palsy every year. Our family has been personally affected by CP because someone we love very much works extremely hard every day to overcome the challenges associated with CP. To learn more, check out Our Why.
