Run Out CP, Inc. has hosted 3 events so far.

In 2015, Our Ding Dong Dash Halloween run raised $13,000 for Gillette Children’s Gait and Motion Outcomes Fund for research study to help treat gait and motion conditions caused by cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other conditions.

In 2016, Our 2nd Ding Dong Dash Halloween run raised $12,000 for Hold Your Horses which provides equine assisted therapies to help improve balance, posture, coordination, attention to task and socialization to help kids with special needs be more successful in their tasks of daily living.

In 2018, we switched things up.  We thought October weather, as unpredictable as it can be, may not be the perfect time to host a run.  Instead, we did a “Calling all Superheroes” run in June.  This time we raised money for the Courage Kenny’s Adaptive Ski and Snowboard Program.  We were able to donate $12,000 for the program.  They used these funds to purchase 2 new adaptive ski systems.

2019 was filled with some unexpected surprises.  We were going to try to mix it up again with a “Bring it home” softball tournament in July supporting a local adaptive baseball program.  Due to several unforeseen events, we were unable to do the event as planned.  Of course we were disappointed at first.  Then I came across the following quote: “Your success is measured by the strength of your desire; the size of your dream; and how you handle disappointment along the way.”  Run Out CP will use the additional time to plan a bigger and better event so please stay tuned for 2020.
